There has been some cheering news on our reserves with the arrival of lambs at both the Swaddywell and Etton High Meadow sites.
Hebridean twins were the first to arrive at Swaddywell, joined later by another single lamb.
At Etton there have been three Jacob lambs, one so small it had to be helped along for a few hours by volunteers bottle-feeding it until it became strong enough to rely on mum. It can be seen in the main picture above.
Sadly, the third was rejected by its mother and had to be adopted by a local farmer who is bringing it up with his other Cade lambs.
One ewe at Etton is still to deliver.
