Projects

There are always a number of projects on the go within the Langdyke community.

Our eighth reserve pages give you the chance to create a new wildflower meadow in your own garden.  We’re asking you to pledge a small area of your garden to become a community reserve.  Find out more here

The John Clare Countryside vision project is a major undertaking encouraging villages and landowners between Peterborough and Stamford to join together to work to restore the land to how it was when the Clare the peasant poet from Helpston walked the countryside.

Langdyke works to encourage the arts and heritage in the area and as a result a team of Artists in Residence carry out wide ranging projects across the area.

There is also news of Operation Turtle Dove – a special project to encourage the survival of the endangered bird on Langdyke reserves – and the Science and Surveys section contains information about all things nature on our reserves.
