Working across the area to support nature
Langdyke is active in supporting other nature reserves in the area including Castor Hanglands – an important nature reserve managed by Natural England with assistance from Langdyke volunteers. It comprises 220 acres of grassland, scrub, ponds and trees. Main habitats include woodland, limestone grassland and scrub.
Others include Barnack Hills and Holes – a popular walking spot for families – and nature areas in the Welland Valley bordering Stamford as well as Southorpe Meadow and Southorpe Paddock.
