Walk in the New year with a tour of seven areas of the Castor and Ailsworth parishes – including two Langdyke reserves, that have been dedicated for the benefit of local wildlife.
Join Mike Horne for the walk starting at 10:30 am on January 1 from the Nene Park Trust car park at the bottom of Splash Lane in Castor.
From there the walk will head off on a 5.6-mile circuitous route around the villages, stopping at each location for a few minutes to discuss what’s been done there so far and how the site will be developed over the coming months. The aim is to be back at the car park for a 1:30pm finish.
