Looking for something different to do with the family this half term.
Why not join the Langdyke team for a family event at Swaddywell Pit nature reserve complete with nature trail and crafting activities on Saturday, October 23.
Between 10am and 1pm there will be a morning of nature-filled fun for families with an opportunity to test spotting skills on a self-guided nature trail and enjoy some crafting back at base.
Parents and carers will remain responsible for their own children at all times and will need to stay for the duration of the event.
Long trousers are recommended, sturdy shoes or boots and waterproofs, sun hats and sunscreen depending on the weather.
Please feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks and lunch, There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sounds of Swaddywell.
We will provide all of the equipment but you might want to bring binoculars.
Parking is in the grass carpark on the right before the entrance of the Stamford Stone Company. We would not advise that you park in the carpark inside the Stamford Stone compound in case they close the gates early.
