Here’s a chance to join Langdyke in support of an event of global significance.
You can join Langdyke chair Richard Astle, trustee David Alvey and events coordinator Claire Noble along with others from the Trust and be part of a mass movement of green steps across the country in the lead up to COP26.
The 7km, circular walk is on Sunday, November 7 at 10am, starting at John Clare cottage in Helpston (main picture, above).
From the cottage the group will head out across the fields towards Woodcroft and Marholm and then back via the Torpel way skirting Simons wood and Oxey wood.
There will be plenty of opportunity to chat along the way, talk about nature recovery and hear about what is happening across John Clare countryside.
The walk will finish at the Bluebell Inn in Helpston at around 12:30pm.
This is a moderate walk across farmland, metalled tracks and field margins with a small amount of road walking (green wheel)
10am start at the John Clare Cottage, Grid reference: TF121053 (what 3 words ///procures.attaching.slang)
If you have any questions please contact the walk leaders Claire and Paul 07421363746 or by e-mail at clairej.noble@outlook.com
