Nocturnal night out

There’s a great nocturnal night out on the cards at Castor Hanglands on Saturday, May 27.

In conjunction with our friends at Natural England the Langdyke events team is giving you the chance to meet a range of  nocturnal animals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Newts, Bats and other nocturnal animals and if you are very lucky you might hear the unrivalled song of one of our most secretive summer visitors, the Nightingale (pictured, above by photographer Sarah Lambert).

This event is free, open to all and suitable for all ages, but may be suited to older children due to the late finish. Its starts at 8pm. Please dress up warm, bring a torch and be prepared for some mud!

Please book ahead to ensure a place at the event by using Eventbrite and clicking here,
