A campaign is underway to move the old Sutton railway station to a new site.
The plan is to try to keep the heritage station in the parish and to become part of a walking, cycling and horse riding route with the building being used for community use – linking with the John Clare countryside vision of paths and trails while at the same time protecting heritage, the environment and wildlife.
