Enrique is Tarmac’s Restoration Manager and is proud of the partnership created between the company and Langdyke and the work done in returning the Etton Maxey gravel workings back to nature. Langdyke manages the reserve for the gravel extraction company.
One area sure to be discussed is the current planning application being made by Tarmac for the site.
The company is currently applying for planning permission to move tons of soil from the Werrington area – the site of a major rail tunnel project – to the edge of Etton to infill one of the excavated pits.
