PECT is an independent charity working to protect and enhance the environment throughout the Peterborough area. The organisation is also a leading partner in the John Clare Countryside Trust vision plan.
The Forest for Peterborough scheme (pictured, above) is just one of the projects the organisation has a leading role in.
In its publicity PECT says it is a “grassroots organisation that educates, inspires, and motivates individuals and organisations to change their behaviour to deliver a positive environmental impact.
“By addressing a wide variety of issues that affect climate change, we can make a difference both now and for future generations.”
