| Sat and Sun Oct 10 and 11 | Celebration time The Westings Meadow project final celebratory exhibition and events - Rediscovering Westings exhibition at Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough This is the first public showing of the exhibition before it tours local schools. There will be plenty on display about the project and the local history gathered, along with a hand mending cafe for clothes, wool spinning demonstrations and a family friendly area including a dress up photo area in traditional work clothing and a Lego landscape building spot. The school events are: Monday 16 November, 3.30pm - Exhibition school tour at Northborough Primary School with an after school community event Wednesday 18 November, 3.30pm - Exhibition school tour at Glinton-cum-Peakirk Primary School with an after school community event Thursday 19 November, 7pm - Evening community talk at Helpston Village Hall with the exhibition avaiable on the friday ay time in the Hall too. | Sun Oct 18 | Guided walk around Bainton Heath Join Stuart Irons for a walk around Langdyke's Bainton Heath Reserve. The site, which is not open to the public generally, is well worth a visit. Be prepared for a three hour moderate walk over rough terrain. Please wear suitable boots or shoes and wear weather-appropriate clothing.
