Trust board changes

Two Langdyke stalwarts have stood down as trustees of the organisation and two new ones were appointed at the recent annual meeting.

Chris Topper – one of the four founding members of Langdyke – has decided to stand down as a trustee but will continue to lead the team that looks after the reserves including Swaddywell and Torpel.

Chris Gardiner has also decided to resign after a number of years in the post.

A third trustee, Mike Clatworthy, resigned last year, after moving away from the area.

Langdyke chair Richard Astle thanked both of them for their hard work over a number of years and hoped they would both continue to be active members of the organisation.

The meeting heard that two new members had volunteered to be Trustees.  They are Claire Noble – who currently organises events for Langdyke – and local councillor Peter Hiller.
