December has been a relatively mild month with only a few frosty mornings to enjoy.
Luckily Michael Jarmanwas out and about early to capture this shot of the sheep at Barnack Hills and Holes. We’ve chosen it as our image of the month for December.

The starling murmurations have continued to be spectacular over the Etton Maxey area as this shot by John Parsonage shows. They have attracted large numbers of sightseers on most evenings,
Our work parties have been busy during the early part of the month before Covid restrictions again struck.
One of the many tasks at Swaddywell included plating some oak saplings. The work was captured on film by Ian Wilson.
At the Etton Maxey reserve one of the tasks involved clearing up the piles of branches that have been cut down in the north wood area. This scene was capture by Keren Thomson.
